Akasha Mudra - How to Do Steps, Benefits and Precautions

Space within the body is a part of outer space. A person becomes very broad minded when it is balanced. The practice of Akash mudra helps you to reunite with the collective consciousness. This mudra can also be called as mudra for enlightenment.

Formation: Formed by joining together the tips of the thumb and the middle finger.

Effect: This is a detoxifying Mudra that helps in increasing the space within the body and helps elimination of metabolic waste. Negative emotions like anger, fear and sorrow are replaced by positive emotions.

     Time Duration: Daily practice of 30 minutes is enough to get good results. You can perform it at any time or any posture, but early hours of the morning and in meditation will give best and quick results.

      Precautions: If you are a Vata dosha person, you have to perform it moderately only.
