Rudra Mudra: Steps and Benefits

The Rudra Mudra helps to govern and activate the Solar Plexus Chakra. Chakras are vortexes of energy that are said to be present in the body.

God Rudra is symbol of fire. This Mudra activates the Manipura chakra. Mudras are specific hand gestures that help to harness and direct the energy that is present in the various Chakras.

Steps:
  •  Sit down comfortably with your back straight and chin and chest held high.
  • ·Breathe in and out through your nose.
  • ·Raise your hands and press the tips of each index finger, thumb, and ring finger together.
  • ·The middle finger and little finger should extend straight out.


Effect: The Prithvi element and Vayu element get balanced. This Mudra affects the glands in the abdomen.

Benefits:

·    This Mudra develops heat and energy in the body.
·    When Prithvi is strengthened the brain also receives enough energy.
·    If a person feels listless, heavy, weighed down and dizzy, the weakness is relieved and completely eliminated by the practice of this Mudra.

·    There are numerous benefits of practicing the Rudra Mudra.
