Apana Vayu Mudra, Steps, Benefits, Duration and Precautions

Apana-Vayu mudra is one of the most important mudras in healing mudras. It is also called as Mritasanjeevani mudra; this mudra can snatch a person away from the clutches of death! In the cases of heart attack. This Apana Vayu Mudra gives instant results and the pain is reduced immediately.

Steps:
  •       Sit down comfortably in the Padma Asana (Lotus Pose) or any other suitable posture. Breathe gently through your nostrils.
  •       Now touch the tips of the middle and ring fingers to the tip of your thumb. Your little finger should point straight out.

Effect: There is combined effect of Vayu Mudra and Apana Mudra. Vayu Mudra relieves the pain instantly and Apana Mudra maintains space to reinforce blood circulation to the heart.
